Pizza, Pop and Power Tools shows eighth grade girls the multitude of employment opportunities for talented, competent young women in the construction trades. The hands-on event also provides a fun learning experience for our students. This is a tremendous opportunity for our students to visit with women in high skill and high wage employment in the Spokane area.

Come Learn About Careers in Construction

When: Thursday, May 9, 2013

Where: Apprenticeship and Journeyman Training Center. 2110 N. Fancher

  • Bring 20 of your 8th grade girls from your middle school and 2 chaperones
  • Lunch provided by Pizza Rita!

What you can expect:

  • Fun! Fun! Fun!
  • Hands-on activities that include heavy equipment, welding, sawing, operating a nail gun, and concrete shipper, painting and more!
  • An experience that lasts a lifetime!
