As a one-week camp for budding entrepreneurs, students learn about teamwork, planning, product creativity, and marketing. The week culminates with a trade show where the teams of students present their companies and products to an audience of invited business guests who act as investors. The activity sharpens communication skills and helps shape career choices. Business Week takes place at four universities: Western Washington University, Central Washington University, Gonzaga University, and Pacific Lutheran University. Through the solicitation of sponsors, the Foundation has averaged 6 sponsorships per year totaling $1,500 to send 6 Valley students through the Business Week program.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”419″ alignment=”right” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
