One Year Celebration of the SCRAPS Regional Animal Shelter

May 19, 2015

On Saturday, June 13, SCRAPS will welcome our community to a huge celebration of our first year in our regional animal facility. “Band Together for the Animals” will focus on the various businesses in our community who work with SCRAPS to provide the resources to support our mission.

Visitors will be welcomed inside to take a self-guided tour of the building and see the various areas. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to discuss topics from bathing animals, putting your pet on a diet and the importance of licensing and mirco-chipping. There will also be door prizes, a quilt raffle, cake and give-aways.

Seminars are scheduled on the hour on dog bite prevention, volunteering, summer safety and pet massage.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
