Troy Clute was born and raised in the Spokane area, growing up in Medical Lake and graduating from Eastern Washington with a Bachelor of Education degree.  After graduating, he started work in the Mortgage Industry, first in sales, then in management overseeing production for five states throughout the Northwest.

In 2016, Troy joined Numerica Credit Union as a Vice President overseeing the Home Loan Center.  In his current capacity, Troy is the Senior Vice President of Consumer Lending overseeing the Dealer Services, Home Loan Center and Retail Lending channels.  In this role, Troy develops, implements and revises long-range strategic plans and steer organization wide lending initiative for Numerica Credit Union.  He served as the past chair of the Business Core Team, a team of eight executive leaders responsible for the execution and implementation of organizational strategy.

He recently was awarded the designation of Certified Chief Executive (CCE) after completing and graduating from the CUES CEO Institute in partnership with The Wharton School of Business, Cornell University and the University of Virgia, Darden Executive Education. Troy is married to Karri Clute, has two adult children Kellen and Kennadie and has three grandchildren, Tyus, Izze and Major.  He spends his free time playing golf, traveling and at his cabin on Priest Lake.
