Finalists are announced for Gem of the Valley Awards Gala

It is with great pleasure that the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce announces the finalists, as voted by Valley Chamber members, for the 2016 Awards of Excellence, a program recognizing business and community achievements.  The finalists for the following categories are:

Three additional categories to be announced are Educator of the Year from the school districts served by the Chamber, Chamber Volunteer of the Year, and Chamber Ambassador of the Year.

The award winners, selected by vote of Valley Chamber members, will be announced at the Annual Gem of the Valley Awards Gala on Friday, January 20 at the Mirabeau Park Hotel in Spokane Valley. The Gala will feature live entertainment by Spokane Brass Quintet, a gourmet dinner and special “Gem of the Valley” auction.

A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the 2016 Harry E. Nelson Citizen of the Year Award to Frank Tombari, Senior Vice President, Banner Bank. From nominations received, the Citizen of the Year is chosen by past recipients of the award and current Valley Chamber executive board members.
