Government Action Committee

Mission Statement:

To inform, educate, engage and advocate for the business community regarding relevant public policy.

Objectives:

The Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce Governmental Action Committee is committed to inform and educate the businesses of the Greater Spokane Valley regarding relevant legislative and regulatory issues.  The Chamber’s GAC’s fundamental role includes advocating the views of the business community to our elected officials on public policy and legislation on the local, state and federal level that might have an impact on the business community.  The GAC is a dynamic volunteer committee of business and community leaders who meet monthly to guide the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce in its public policy positions, such as representing the best interests of business through candidate forums, public policy speakers and providing grassroots network support.

2017 Legislative Priorities:
The Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce Governmental Action Committee and the Chamber Board of Directors have unanimously adopted the 2017 Legislative Priorities.

Generally, the meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at MultiCare Valley Hospital Education Center, 12606 E Mission. Check the calendar.
