Joe Morgan joined Modern Electric Water Company in 1995 and has held numerous positions within Modern. Mr. Morgan was named General Manager of Modern in 2016, where he is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to his current role, he served as Assistant General Manager where he was primarily responsible for overseeing engineering, operations, regulatory affairs, labor relations and company strategic initiatives. Mr. Morgan is a member of the board of directors of Northwest Requirements Utilities, Washington Rural Electric Cooperative Association, Valley Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Executive Board of the Public Power Council. A native of Washington, Mr. Morgan is married and when not working, he and his wife are either traveling, running races, golfing, or attending Washington State Cougar football games. An ideal vacation encompasses all four.
