Headshot of Scott Hislop

Background

Wolff, Hislop, & Crockett, PLLC

Scott has a family history with deep ties to business and real estate in the Greater Spokane Area.  Scott calls on his years of experience in business, real estate and the practice of law to lead the Wolff, Hislop, & Crockett, PLLC Business, Transaction and Estate Planning team.

Scott desires long term client relationships.  A client receives the best legal advice from a lawyer that not only knows the law, advocates intelligently and assists the client in finding creative legal solution; but also has a clear understanding of the client, the client’s business and the client’s goals.  Those goals can and should include the client’s business strategy, transition, asset preservation, and legacy.  Scott’s goal is to effectuate this approach to the practice with each client; and instill this mindset with the Wolff, Hislop & Crockett Business, Transaction and Estate Planning Team.

Scott grew up in Liberty Lake area and graduated from Gonzaga University. After spending a year abroad, Scott returned to Spokane Valley, selling real estate and attending and graduating from Gonzaga school of Law. Scott left the area to serve as an attorney in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Core (JAG). In the Army Scott served soldiers deploying within the European theater, provided base commander support and tried cases as both a prosecutor and defense counsel. In 2002, Scott returned to Spokane, joined his partner and father Jamie Wolff, establishing the firm Wolff and Hislop. In 2015, Scott became a founding partner in Wolff, Hislop, & Crockett, PLLC, a Business, Real Estate, and Estate Planning, transactional and litigation firm.
