Born and raised in Longview WA.

Attended Mark Morris High School. Played Football, Basketball and Baseball.

Attended and graduated from Oregon State University while playing Football and Baseball. Drafted by the St Louis Cardinals in 1977 as a pitcher and played for 5 years in the minor leagues. Worked at Standard Distributors in Longview for 10 years as a beer and wine salesman.

Was an assistant coach at Lower Columbia Junior college during that time.

Moved to Pullman, WA to be the assistant baseball coach for 3 years.

Was self employed as a general contractor [handyman] for Chamberlain Contracting Services LLC from 1997 through 2020 and is now retired.

Moved to Liberty Lake in August of 2013.

Service groups that he belongs to over the years include the Pullman Lions Club, Liberty Lake Centennial Rotary Club and is on the board of Directors of the Club. Also is on the Liberty Lake Parks and Arts Commission, Winterglow Spectacular board of Directors along with being a member of the

Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce Foundation board.

Is married to Jodi Chamberlain who is a nurse at Spokane Valley Hospital. Raised 5 kids.
