The Spokane Community College is hosting a program where high school sophomores, juniors and seniors can learn more about exciting careers in technical professional options. Some of the careers include: Architectural Technology, CAD and Mechanical Design Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electrical, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Heavy Equipment/Diesel, Auto, Welding, Machining and HVAC/Refrigeration.
Have your students contact their local school counselor or Career Technical Education coordinator at their High School to sign up and select up to three career/technical programs they want to learn more about. Contact Lisa Williksen at williksenl@evsd.org to register if your school is not participating.
The event is scheduled for February 15th at Spokane Community College. It begins and 9:00 am and wraps up at 1:00 pm. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your students to explore some outstanding career paths!
