Lance Beck hired as President & CEO

September 14, 2018
The Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Lance Beck has been hired as President and CEO.
Lance is a native of Spokane, graduating from Mt. Spokane High School and going on to get degrees in Marketing, Business and Leadership at Whitworth University. Lance began his business career with the Spokane Shock football team in marketing and operations, and has worked most recently with the Oregon Coast Aquarium as Director of Marketing. In addition to his immediate job responsibilities, Lance has involved himself deeply in his community, serving in leadership roles on local tourism and community college boards. He is also an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys a diverse range of adventures.
Lance was chosen from a small group extremely well qualified finalists out of the nearly 40 outstanding candidates who initially applied for the CEO position. His unique perspective on the BIG 5 and the Chamber’s role in the Greater Spokane community make him an excellent choice to lead the organization.
Lance will assume the position of President and CEO on October 8, 2018. The Chamber Board of Directors is excited to have Lance as the next leader of our growing organization, and wishes to welcome him home as he returns to serve his community.
