My name is Brian Talbott and I am in my first year as superintendent in the East Valley School District and my 29th in education. Prior to this role, I was the superintendent of the Nine Mile Falls School District from 2008 – 2021.  I started my career in 1993 west of the mountains in the White Pass School District where I taught Language Arts and History at the High School.  I then took on the position of principal at White Pass Jr/Sr High School followed by three years as the superintendent. I am grateful to be a part of East Valley as well as Spokane Valley as a whole.  My wife, Tricia is an educator as well and has served as the counselor at NEWTech Skill Center for the past thirteen years.  We have three children ages 24, 20, and 17.  We are proud of each of them for being kind and thoughtful individuals.
