Brian Valliant serves as President of Baker Construction & Development, Inc. In his role, Brian oversees daily operations, contract administration, legal strategy, and workforce planning across multiple regions. He plays a key leadership role in shaping Baker’s long-term strategic vision and operational excellence.

Since joining Baker in 2005 as an intern while earning his degree in Construction Management from Washington State University, Brian has steadily grown within the organization—advancing from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager, then to Senior Vice President of Construction Services, and ultimately President. His career has been defined by a deep commitment to team development, efficient operations, and sustainable growth.

Brian is an Honorary Commander at Fairchild Air Force Base, where he works to strengthen the connection between the military and the regional business community. He is also a graduate of Leadership Spokane (Class of 2017), a LEED Accredited Professional, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors Inland Pacific Chapter. In addition, he participates in a national peer group of general contractors focused on sharing best practices and refining strategic leadership.

Originally from the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, Brian now resides just south of Spokane with his wife and four children. He is passionate about building stronger community connections, supporting youth entering the construction trades and future-focused economic development throughout the region.
