Matt Albright is the Executive Director of Service Lines for Providence and has over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience.
In this role, Matt oversees the planning and strategy for the Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Oncology, Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and the Women’s & Children’s service lines. Providence is the second largest employer in the Spokane region with more than 7,000 employees and includes five hospitals, a large medical group, a skilled nursing facility, home health care and other programs that work together to offer patients throughout Inland Northwest Washington the highest level of full spectrum care.
Prior to Providence, Matt was the Director of Northwest MedStar, an accredited critical care transport service with six base locations covering Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon. Prior to Northwest MedStar, Matt served for 20 years with the United States Air Force as a medical officer ending his career at Fairchild Air Force Base as the Biomedical Sciences Corps executive, helping lead a medical group dedicated to the healthcare needs of more than 11,000 military service members, retirees and their families. Matt is a graduate of Washington State University with a Master’s in exercise science, a Bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-medical from the U.S. Air Force Academy, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Matt has a strong passion for the success of our community and its businesses. In addition to his volunteer time with the chamber, he is also involved in community workforce development efforts through his participation in local and state secondary and higher education advisory committees. Matt and his family live in Liberty Lake.
