Wendy Drum is the CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County, a nationally recognized leader in youth out of school time activities. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, she moved to Missoula, Montana to start her graduate program. While in Missoula, she met her now husband, Harly and after receiving her master’s degree, moved to Newport, Washington. Her career began at Washington State University – Pend Oreille County Extension leading the Food $ense, SNAP-Education Program for all of Pend Oreille County including programming on the Kalispel Reservation.
Due to this relationship, Wendy began working for the Kalispel Tribe in the Camas Medical Clinic running the Indian Health Service Special Diabetes Program for Indians. She moved to Spokane in 2018 and started a position at Spokane Community College as the Director of ACT 2 and Workforce Special Projects where she stayed until she joined the Boys & Girls Club movement in 2022
