April 5, 2019 – If you are a Greater Spokane Valley business and are wondering where you can find skilled workers you are certainly not alone.

On Friday, April 19th, the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce will present “Career Connected Learning – A Workforce Solution.”  This event will feature an in-depth look at four local organization’s solutions to developing talent locally. The panel of speakers, who have been involved in these innovative programs, will then provide the knowledge and guiding principles for guests to take the next step during a panel question and answer discussion.

The solutions go beyond internships, job shadowing and other forms of traditional career connected learning to include apprenticeships and in-house training programs.

Panelists include:

  • Eric Rosentrater, Human Resources Manager and Labor Relations Partner at Avista Utilities
  • Staci Franz, Director – Human Resources at Inland Northwest Health Services
  • Todd Smith, Nurse Practitioner Residency Program Clinical Director at Chas Health
