Reigning Cats and Dogs Auction to benefit SCRAPS Animal Medical Fund

March 9, 2015

On Friday, April 24th, the SCRAPS Hope Foundation will gather our supporters and community members together for our organization’s largest fundraiser.  Over 500 people will attend the event that focuses on raising money for homeless, abused and abandoned animals.  The event features a silent and live auction, pet pageant, raffle and delicious appetizers and desserts.

Tickets are $30; $35 at the door.

Proceeds from the event go to the SCRAPS Animal Medical Fund that provides assistance to animals who are injured or suffering from abuse.

It’s the purr-fect way to support our furry friends!

About the SCRAPS Hope Foundation

The SCRAPS Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2009 to assist the Spokane County Regional Animal Protect Service (SCRAPS) in building a more humane community, protecting public safety and ensuring animal welfare through compassionate, responsive, professional enforcement of laws and public policy

Last year, we helped 10, 838 animals that had nowhere else to go. Medical services, rehabilitation and rehoming along with our Transport Program, low income food bank, free dog houses, free dog training classes, behavioral information and humane education to kids is all provided through donations.

The highlight of our auction is introducing animals that have benefitted from our programs.  Animals like Cheddar that was found on New Year’s Eve starving, chained in a backyard, his water frozen and no shelter from the snow.  Our supporters know Cheddar’s story and at the Reigning Cats and Dogs Auction they will have a chance to see the impact their donations have had.
